Several people have asked me about finding office space in Amsterdam for their startups. This page will be updated with relevant information as I find it.
Temporary
Coworker.nl lists many cafés and cool companies that don’t mind you dropping by for a day with your laptop. Among those listed is Bubble Foundry, at the old Volkskrantgebouw on Wibautstraat!
If you’re in Den Haag, drop by Nomadz in the Bink 36 buildings.
Permanent
2009-09-27: Sander Koppelaar has 12 spots available at Single 146.
2009-04-19: Sander Koppelaar has two desks available at Singel 146.
2008-05-08: Peter Kaptein is offering a 40 m2 room for €900 per month and a 20 m2 room for €450.
2008-05-09: Tijs Teulings has a workspace (desk, internet, and printer) at Herengracht 62 to rent for €150 a month.
I know a startup that is renting an office right off of Rokin through OfficeTime.
Urban Resort manages both the Volkskrantgebouw and, opening soon, a building on Westerdokeiland.
I believe Fanu manages the old ABN building that many people from Post CS are moving in June 2008.
Vestia manages the Bink 36 building in Den Haag.
Spaces is a very nice location on Herengracht. For €100 a month (and a 12 month contract) you can get access to their lobby/lounge/bar area. Think of it like working at Coffee Company but with nicer surroundings and better coffee (so I hear; I don’t drink coffee). If you want something more office-like, desk space upstairs starts at €350 a month (with a 3 month contract). You get 24 hour access to the building and your own locker (they have a clean desk policy).

The Herengracht office is not available anymore. I did start a coworking space in the Bink36 office you mention in Den Haag. Check the website for more info http://nomadz.nl

Yes, Bink is a very cool building and I should have added Nomaz, a coworking space in that building, to the list.

I found perfect office space on http://www.kantoorbalie.nl. They offer affordable office space in most cities in the netherlands

There is some office space (kitchen, reception, good parking) for rent at the Haarlemerweg, in Westerpark Amsterdam.

I have a tip for everyone who plans to rent a office.
Rent a flexible office so you can switch to an smaller or bigger office at every moment.

A few updates: I know of one startup looking for deskspace for 4-5 people, and an office on the 2nd floor of the Volkskrantgebouw (not mine) has one desk available.
