Philosophy

Bubble Foundry makes easy-to-use websites for internationally-minded small businesses. We believe that customers should focus on running their businesses, not their websites. International business is hard enough for small businesses, so they do not need distractions coming from their websites. At the same time, the internet is a key tool for operating internationally and websites should have a key place in companies’ activities, including not just sales but also promotion and the development of relationships with customers. Because of this, simplicity and ease-of-use are fundamental design principals for us. Small companies do not have the luxury of a lengthy and expensive development process. In order to deliver the right product and on time, we believe in a methodical and focused design process in which customers are helped to discover specific goals for their sites and only essential site elements are developed.

Design Philosophy
All sites will place a strong emphasis on usability. We believe that web sites must always be valuable for users, either by informing or entertaining them. Therefore ease-of-use and a strong information architecture are essential and will encourage the itinerant web surfer to stay on the site and get to know the business. Bubble Foundry sites are easy to navigate and will not presume existing knowledge on the part of users, instead seeking to provide relevant information in the easiest and quickest way possible. Because ease-of-use is a guiding principal, every effort will be made to comply with the Dutch government accessibility guidelines and other standards, ensuring that internet users, include the disabled, are able to access our websites.

Localization
Bubble Foundry believes that the best websites are those that are well-known and useful for as many people in their target markets as possible. Essential is having websites in languages and formats that users can understand, preferably their native ones. Our customers will benefit immensely from the ability to easily provide content in many languages on their sites. This will be done through a combination of content management tools, and translation tools such as Worldwide Lexicon. Internationalization will be supported with all websites, so that customers can reach their customers and partners in all relevant languages.
